What We Do—and What We Do Not Sign

eQOURSE is not a notified body, safety certifier or CE-marking consultancy. We do not issue conformity assessments, sign risk assessments or certify a system as safe. We produce the operational evidence; your integrator and assessor produce the safety case.

Where the Standards Stand

As of August 2026, ISO 10218-1:2025 and ISO 10218-2:2025 are in force; ISO/TS 15066 is no longer standalone; ISO 25785-1 remains in development. This is orientation, not conformity advice.

Acceptance Criteria Before Anything Runs

Success, throughput, intervention, recovery, conditions, duration, cycle counts, stop triggers and failure consequences are agreed before results exist.

Incident and Near-Miss Logging

Events are classified against a defined severity scale with timestamps, environmental context, observer agreement and immediate escalation.

What is robot deployment validation?

Structured observation of a robot application doing its real work in its target environment against acceptance criteria agreed before testing.

Do you certify robots as safe?

No. eQOURSE is not a notified body, safety certifier or CE-marking consultancy. We produce operational evidence for the integrator and assessor.

Why is robot certification not enough?

The application includes robot, task, tooling and environment. Certification of the robot does not describe the complete operating application.

How long does validation take?

Typically four to eight weeks on site, driven by shifts and required cycle counts. Timing is scope-dependent.

What is habituation?

People change how they behave around a familiar robot over time, so sustained observation can reveal a different operating risk profile from week one.

Do you record near-misses?

Yes. Near-misses, stops and interventions are logged against a defined severity scale with time and environmental context.

How is this different from VLA evaluation?

VLA evaluation compares policy capability under controlled trials; deployment validation checks a specific application in its real operational site.

What if you observe something serious?

It is escalated immediately through the pre-agreed path, and eQOURSE will not continue observing a situation it considers unsafe.
